Double Tap has several NRA Certified Instuctors. We offer classes in NRA First Steps For Pistol,
NRA Basic Pistol & NRA Personal Protection Inside the Home. We are also certified by the Kansas Attorney General
to instruct the Kansas Concealed Carry Classes. We schedule our classes as interest dictates. We can also offer
classes for your groups at your location at a special rate. We can work around your schedule. If you are interested in any of these classes please contact

For more advanced defensive and tactical training we work with Specialist Research & Training Group to offer our
members affordable professional training classes for Pistol, Carbine and Shotgun. Bill Regina with SRT is a top
notch regional instructor and a great guy to train with. As some of you may have heard me say, Bill is a "where
the rubber meets the road" kind of guy.
We will be setting up more outdoor training for this spring and summer. Class size will be limited so we encourage
you to sign up when the classes are scheduled.

Equipment needed:
Rifle, Sling (one or two point), magazine pouches, Cleaning Kit, Eye and Ear Pro, ammo 500+ rounds, Handgun, 50+ rounds of handgun ammo, Holster (must be able to draw, present and re holster without interference from other gear/equipment, drop leg or outside the waistband recommended).
Equipment recommended:
Knee/elbow pads, mat to shoot from the prone, bi-pod or shooting stand for zeroing, water, sun and bug screen, chap-stick, and whatever makes you comfy.

Class Details:
The fighting from a vehicle class is centered around utilizing your vehicle as cover (correctly), exiting a vehicle quickly- one person or two, shooting at / thru vehicle windshields from inside and outside a car. Shooting and exiting a vehicle, moving out off the kill zone, two man tactics around a vehicle, shooting thru doors to engage targets inside the vehicle, showing how different parts of the car can be used against the bad guy (besides running him over), and disabling a vehicle. This class will include the information in last years classes and several new drills we did not get to cover, ie more use of cover, more on positions, exits and shooting under the car, plus others.
Equipment needed: Handgun and holster, 200 rds of ammo, eye and ear protection, refreshment / hydration system. If you have a carbine or shotgun you are interested in utilizing bring it and 50 rds of ammo.

This is a P.O.S.T. certified law enforcement training class.
Class Details:
Class will begin with a basic review. IT IS SUGGESTED that you have the
beginner class prior to this class, but not required. If you already have
the beginning basics, then this class can move along and you will get to more
advanced tactics.
It will move into the extensive use of cover including use of vehicle as cover.
It will also address basic shooting positions; standing, kneeling, prone, and
shooting from these positions.
The course will then address close quarters shooting, multiple targets, weapons
retention, and shooting and moving.
We will finish with basics of two man tactics, and a timed qualification course.
This class will be held outside.
Equipment needed:
250 rds ammo, eye/ear protection, minimum of 2 magazines, sling if available, handgun, 25 rds handgun ammo, holster/belt, and beverages/snacks you need for the day.
We will supply bottled water.

Class: Kansas Concealed Carry
Location: Manhattan, KS
Date: July 24th, 2010 (Saturday), 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 / 5:30 p.m.
Cost: $80.00, $20.00 Deposit
Cost will include all range and classroom fees, bound student handbook and loaner gun if needed.
Note:
Students may use almost any handgun they prefer for the qualification.
However we strongly encourage them to use the handgun they intend to carry.
If you do not yet have a handgun to use but you do have the basic handgun skills to shoot we will
gladly provide you with a loaner gun to qualify with. Please contact us prior to the
class to make sure we bring the gun you prefer to shoot and you bring the proper ammo.
