The Double Tap / Corndodger Summer Challange is not an IDPA sanctioned contest but instead a fun &
friendly competition for our monthly shooters. We will start keeping track of scores only at our
scheduled monthly shoots on the 4th Sunday of each month.
Additional shoots and fundraisers at Corndodger or at our indoor events will not be included in this contest.
At the end of the summer season we will get together for a pot luck or BBQ and present awards and prizes
for a number of things encluding the top shooter for the season.
With our scoring system the best shooters will of course do better but everyone has a chance to
do well simply by showing up and shooting. Over the course of the summer missing a month
or not winning your class every time will not have a huge effect on your score.
Scoring System is as follows:
Course of Fire Winners (points awarded for each COF) 1st Place- 4 points
2nd Place- 3 points
3rd Place- 2 points
All other shooters- 1 point
Class Winners (Classified Classes Only) Classes w/ 3 or more shooters
1st- 3 points
2nd- 2 points
3rd- 1 point
Classes w/ 2 or more shooters
1st- 2 points
2nd- 1 point
Classes w/ only shooter
1st- 1 point
Most Accurate Shooters 1st Place- 3 points
2nd Place- 2 points
3rd Place- 1 point
